Thanks for the feedback Richard. I'm considering this change only for the Majors contest since the weekly leagues already have 4-week sessions. There are no sessions for the Majors contest so this will keep things interesting for this format. For the weekly leagues, if I gave out another 24 weekly prizes, plus the 8-10 season prizes and 18 session prizes, there wouldn't be enough to go around. The season and session prizes would have to be reduced substantially & I don't want to have to do that.

John, I know this is almost 2 months since you posted post #28 but I think its a good idea especially near the end of a phase or end of the season when you have no chance of winning anything. This season in the leagues I've been in I had two first place wins and a tie for first place and all I got for it is the satifaction of finishing 1st. Right now in league 3 and high stakes leagues I'm just going through the motions. With a prize for 1st. each week will make it more interesting.

(continued from post #27) All teams who tied will compete in a shootout in the next tournament. The team who scores the most points in the next tournament will be declared the winner. If the tie occurs for the last tournament of the contest, the team who has the highest point total for the overall season will be declared the winner.

Question for next year. Would you guys rather see prizes for places 6-10 be awarded as tournament prizes? In other words, given to the person who has the high score for the week.n the event of any ties, the weekly tournament tie breaker will be determined as follows (see next post).

I'm following PGA Tour as well as several other PGA golfers who Twitter regularly such as Poulter. It's neat to get the golfers thoughts on things, what they're doing to kill time during the weather delays, where they went to eat, etc. Sounds like they have it rough not being chained to a desk 40+ hours a week :) The PGA Tour tweets are useful for getting the latest news, updates on weather delays, etc.

Tim - I'm currently working on PTFG Twitter page. The address is www.Twitter.com/ptfg. I'll start using to let you know when the weekly results are updated. Depending on how many followers I get, I may use it for other updates too (new leagues, weather delays, etc.)

I know a lot of you guys are pretty tech savvy. Would any of you like to be notified via Twitter when the weekly results have been posted? That way you don't have to continually check the site on Sunday night. Currently, I'm exploring this idea to see what the interest level is.

A good fantasy golf article in today's New York Times. They mentioned all the big sites by name and then did everything but mention PTFG when discussing small sites. I don't know any other site with a $25 entry fee, $500 for first place, and start 3 golfers each week.

I don't know if today's finish will be as dramatic as The Master's. Either way, don't get in trouble with Momma by spending all day in front of the TV. After all it, it is Mother's Day ;)

Looks like those that picked Cabrera as a sub this morning are bummed out. Poulter will bounce back tomorrow and give only 9 of us big 2X winnings!!!

TO Jeff and John, I not only neglected my company as they were asking what are you doing, watching golf, my reply "nope',I also stayed on line curiously waiting for the on-line results.(turned out good this time).

Jeff - Welcome to the world PTFG! That's what this game does to you. If it makes you feel any better, I was at my in-laws with all the men were in one room watching The Masters and all the women were in the another. My wife kept asking me when I was going to come in the other room and "be social". I kept telling her "pretty soon" and I finally did after about 6 hours (the playoff didn't help any).
